ColorPrint 1 layer, 2 colors

I'm just getting started with designing my own objects to print. I am making a sign to give as a gift to some coworkers. Essentially it has a backing plate with our company logo and some text extruded on top of it. Here's a mockup of what I'm trying to do:

The colors I want to print for each piece are indicated here. With ColorPrint I know I can make the switch between white and blue easily, but the green is going to be at the same layer as the blue. Is it possible with any slicing software to make these separate colors different layers (but still print as a single object) so I can add color stops with ColorPrint?

Not without a dual extruder setup.

What I would do is make the Green part 3 layers taller than the Blue. That way when it switches to Green it will have 3 layers to cover the Blue.
