Best edge deburring file I've used!
Hi guys,
I wanted to recommend an odd product choice for edge deburring that is working out much better than expected and thought I'd share.
Originally, I'd use fine metal flat file and sand paper or hobby model sanding sticks but these left the edge rough and discolored. Pipe deburring tool works great on inner radius type shapes but is horribly difficult to control on more likely outer facing straight edges. So, I started hunting around for my perfect deburring file tool thinking there was a thin blade sharpener that would fit the bill. Never found one but when stumbling for a file while rinsing a part in the bathroom, I used a nail file made of glass because it was sitting there...and it was PERFECT. Simply a joy to work with and leaves edges nearly as smooth as printed, the burrs just roll off for ABS, PETG, PLA and I suspect all thermo-plastics, best, it cleans in water, never dulls. It was what I was looking for all along.
Don't snicker, it works and is cheap. ClassyLady Professional Crystal Glass Nail File. I said don't snicker!
