Best brand for widest range of PLA color?

I've used a few different brands of PLA filament now, and I'm expanding to even more. I'm especially looking for some of the non-standard colors, like a deep red. To that end, here's my question:

Which brand/filament maker has the largest range of colors available in PLA?

I'd like to get one brand of PLA and stick with it, but most filament makers stick with the tried and true 20 or so colors.

I've tried MatterHackers, Prusa, and Inland, and had good success with each of these types of PLSA. I have some Paramount 3d PLA on order, as they had a nice deep red that I was looking for, but other than that color and maybe one or two others, they do not have the great color range I'm looking for (and I'm a bit hesitant as I can't find any reviews on their filament).

I've looked at Faberdashery.co.uk, and their filaments are probably the best available, but at roughly $99 per kg, it's a tad expensive (and I'm in the U.S.A., so add shipping costs and shipping time too).

Anything else out there?

I have had very good luck with Hatchbox, which can be ordered from Amazon (yay Prime!) and https://www.hatchboxfilament.com

It has good colors, and a good price. What has me sold is the rapid delivery from Amazon so when a need comes up, I can get that color fast. Prints very well. I use it in my MMU and it behaves very well and consistently.

Any advices given are offered in good faith. It is your responsibility to ensure that by following my advice you do not suffer or cause injury, damage or loss. If you solve your problem, please post the solution…

I've seen good reviews from Hatchbox and their brand is highly recommended. However, they have pretty much the same standard colors as everyone else, i.e., one Red, one Gray, one Pink, etc. I'm looking for a type of filament that might have several reds and several pinks and several grays (and translucent or glow in the dark doesn't count).

Thanks for the good review on Hatchbox, too. I plan to get some of their filament to try as well.

3DK.berlin is far away from USA :).
I can only add Makergeeks to the list. They don't have a big variety in colors but their color a slightly different to the standard ones.

Re: Best brand for widest range of PLA color?

This is a big gripe of mine. The market for printer filament isn't yet large enough to have a huge variety of colors available. Over the years I've built up a supply of about 30 colors in ABS, fewer in PLA since I've not been printing PLA as long. Often when I see an oddball color for sale I'll buy a reel or two even if I don't know what I'll use it for, since the cost isn't that high and I never know if I'll be able to find that color again tomorrow.

These days most filament prints acceptably well. I'd worry less about sticking to one brand and just get the colors where you can find them.

In a perfect world, we'd be able to have a couple kg of any Pantone color made up on demand. That world is still a long time in the future.
