Any tips on printing .1 resolution

Hi, just tried to print my first PLA .1 resolution object with the Prusa I3 plus but that wasn't a big success. A Thingiverse downloaded object sliced with Prusa3D Slic3r 1.75mm and correct PLA .1 settings didn't work.
Finally I did manage to print the demo "PLA_3DHubs_Marvin_100um_1H" one with success but had to try multiple times to get the bed level right.
Any tips someone?

Hi Luc

I think that when slicing, you need to make the first layer at least 0.23mm. You could also try printing on a raft.

I have printed using 50 microns with PLA giving a quite smooth finish, but with standard firmware I think the above also applies.
