Trying to figure out slic3r to print flexible material
I bought a roll of 3d solutech flexible material and I am trying to print that openrc F1 car but I'm struggling trying to figure out the right settings to print the material in. I am still extremely new to working with sli3er and I been using the default flexible material profile and so far the only element I have change is the print temp to the range the material should print in. The issue I am having at the moment is that it starts printing gets a couple layers down and then starts pushing out the side. So the only thing I can think of is trying to slow the print down somehow but I am unsure of what settings to change to get the results that works. The only other thing I could think of that might be creating problems is I don't know if retraction is still turned on or not I just can't find it in the settings to check I would assume that in the profile for flexible material it would be off but I just don't see it.

Definitely reduce the speeds. I had plenty of success with Ninjaflex at 20-25mm/s maximum. Also, you should reduce or even turn off retraction entirely.
Re: Trying to figure out slic3r to print flexible material
Yea that is something I want to do I am just unsure where in the program I should make the change to the speed. On my old printer the last time I blindly started tweaking settings I didn't know anything about I screwed the printer up fairly bad so I just don't feel safe blindly changing settings anymore that I don't know what they might effect. Once I can get a grasp of the program and what changes does what then I will feel safer to make changes but right now I am just unsure what is safe to change to reduce the speed.

I use the default settings, turn the speed on the printer all the way down to 50-60% and raise the live z adjust by about 0.1mm (more positive #). Worked great for me.
