Strange Extruder noise
I've been having great success with my MK3 so far, but I recently swapped to a new filament (Hobbyking dark purple PLA). The prints are coming out great with it, but I've noticed the extruder is making a strange noise. It's not that loud, but it definitely wasn't making this noise when I was printing with the silver PLA that came with the printer kit. I haven't changed back to the silver, or any other filament yet, but wanted to check if anyone else has experienced a weird noise that can best be described as a faint clicking/squeakng/squeezing noise (which seems to be coming from the extruder/hot end as best I can tell)?

I noticed my extruder making an occasional squeaking noise when I printed with a new roll of 3D Solutech clear PLA (everything I have used before this has been PLA in solid colors, Hatchbox and Prusa). Doesn't seem to go with any problem with the prints, and it goes away when I change filament.
For myself, I'm assuming it's just due to the particular plastic (maybe particularly because it has no color additives and so is pure PLA?) moving through the extruder, because it seems like a squeaky-rubbing-plastic sort of noise, sort of like a high-pitched version of rubbing a balloon.

My Prusa i3 mk3 is making a faint squeeky scratchy noise when printing the silver pla as well. it sounds like it may be during slight retractions as the extruder often moves quickly after doesn't seem to effect the print yet.

i have same noise with janbex pla sometimes. Extruder jumps over and there is no filament extraction looks like that the heatbreak is congested.

The silver PLA I got with the printer is quiet.
The Amazon Basics PETG (white) I just started using makes the squeaking / ticking sound. It's printing just fine though.
