i hope i can learn a lot printing and from the advise everybody gives and that i can find on the forum.

to start here are some pictures of my MK3 and the first print

( would love to here what you guys think and give tips on first print. i think it looks great. but then again as i said im completely new to 3d printing. 😀

Looking very sharp! Love the green sleeving on the cables. 😀

But one small piece of info that jumps out on me, You say you waited 4 months, but i thought you ordered the printer on Januari 19th and got extremely lucky that it shipped so quickly. Or am i mixing up multiple Sneezle's 😆

Anyway the printer looks superb, so happy printing!

So waited 4 months to get printer ( birthday present) and 6 weeks from order to shipping..

I'm a newbie as well, but from what i can tell, there is room to improve on the first layer calibration. There are small gaps between the plastic lines/ paths on the bottom of the benchy. The plastic should fuse together tightly with no gaps.

So after some more printing of the tested prusa prints on the memory card I finally felt comfortable enough to try a print from thingeverse and slice it myself.
I'm happy with result but its not perfect by all means, hope you guys here can give me some more tips after looking at pictures.

try variable layer height to improve the curved detail especially the circular end where the contours are most visible

regards Joan

I try to make safe suggestions,You should understand the context and ensure you are happy that they are safe before attempting to apply my suggestions, what you do, is YOUR responsibility. Location Halifax UK

The ringing you have around details and corners can be fixed by dropping your external perimeter speed to 15mm/s. It'll slow your print down a little (just on the external perimeters), but the bump in quality is huge. Also keep an eye out for the upcoming reintroduction of Linear Advance, it will fix corner bulging.

Thanks for the tip.

Lowered the external perimeter as suggested .. print a lot nicer. 🙂
