Welp, that was short lived. Received an e-mail from Prusa saying "Hey, we're ready to ship your order and noticed there was an error when you checked out. Mind sending us the 40 euros to ship it?" I was prepared to pay shipping anyway so I forked it over.

So it seems that the orange filament you ordered is not the one used for the MK3.
I'm not sure how long the new one has been available for, I just noticed it today...

That new one wasn’t there yesterday, now I have the old petg Orange pretty useless even after chatting and asking them first, a few days later they bit the actual petg up which does match.

I would love to support PRUSA and buy their filament, but the cost of shipping to the US makes it impossible.

I've just spoken to Prusa on livechat to add a drum of "pukka prusa" Orange PETG to my MK3 order which should leave them next week, fingers crossed... If it was just one drum, they can usually add it with the printer order without extra P&P as there is space in the box.

In the first instance they wrongly advised me the colour (everyone makes mistakes I guess), it was already in England to be delivered next day so they said to refuse delivery and it will be returned for a refund, cant fault that. I forgot to tell my GF and I was out and accepted the delivery 🙄 so its now on ebay and I have a new roll being shipped 😆

Just an FYI, you can refuse the delivery even if the package is delivered just as long as the package has not been opened. You just need to drive back to your UPS hub and tell them that you're refusing the package. It sounds like it's been opened though, as it's already on eBay.

I just picked up PETG Prusa Orange and Black and I can confirm,
that colors are the same.
Only the orange is not so sorted on the spool like the black one (see photo below),
but who cares. It is a Prusa awesome orange!

I ordered my kit in black so I wouldn't have to bother finding any matching orange. Although there may be a subtle variation in black it won't look as noticeable as an off color orange.

My two spools of Prusa Orange turned up yesterday. Can confirm it is the real Prusa Orange and it is so much 'brighter' than the two spools of orange PETG I bought from Prusa before Christmas.
Currently printing Mk3 R2 upgraded parts as I have to strip my machine to replace the incorrect smooth rods, so I may as well bring it right up to current spec.

Does anyone know what temp should be used to duplicate the matte appearance of Prusa's orange parts? My roll of Prusa petg came in and I'm printing the updated X axis parts and they're shiny in comparison to the parts that came with the printer.

Can you post a picture of the label on the side of the Orange? I’ve now ordered 2 oranges petg one the old one from the shop and one the new one (which is meant to be the correct one) and both delivered are the same lol

They just had more in stock today and I managed to get it ordered quickly enough to snag one and have it combined with the i3MK3 I ordered yesterday. I sold out in under 30 minutes!
I won't get it until July but if I remember I'll post up here with a comparison.

I'm sorry, I have already a new spool of Prusa Orange (a few days ago) and it is the same as previous one. The color still match with my MK3 from January 2018 and still easy to print (in compare with other brand PETG) like a boss, but it is because of colour, that can hide some imperfections.
And yes, it can be tricky to get a new one, because they are sold out really fast.
