PETG and Colourfabb XT 1st Layer of Support lifting
Hi
I'm new to Slic3r and Prusa (previously Ultimaker 1 and Cura) so I'm using Prusa Control at the mo with with my MK3,
Set my Live Z height pretty well (I think) with PLA, then started playing about with other filaments trying to find a good mechanical material.
The model I'm printing has quite a large proportion of overhang so Support is on
I found with Prusa PETG and Colourfabb XT that the first, denser layer of support would not stick to the bed unless I turned the speed down, about 70-75% seems good. It lifts at the ends of lines as it rapidly changes direction. I tried Gluestick and live Z height changes but the only thing that seemed to cure it reliably was the speed change.
Is this a filament profile problem in Prusa Control or am I doing something wrong?
Does Slic3r PE have the same default filament profiles as Prusa Control and can you tweak this one layer speed? I can't find it.
Hope someone can help 🙂
