Numbering on Printed Parts. Please someone tell me what does it mean ?

Could anyone explain the meaning of numbering on the printed parts ?

My guessing ; it is the version number, am I correct ?

When I've got my MK3 kit last month, the printed parts are numbered with letter "B", does it mean "Beta" version ? Now, I have downloaded the latest Printed Parts, which are numbered as "R1", does it mean "Released 1" ?

The questions are:

- Do the latest printed parts solve any issues ?
- Should I re-print all the printed parts again to fix any issues?
- What are the issues ? * I hope there is a history update for these printed parts.

I am asking these questions because I am starting to assemble the printer this weekend. Is it worthy to re-print all the parts again before I assemble it ?

thanks.

I dont have my printer yet, however from what i have seen on these forums i can answer this.

They are version number you are correct, and the reason they are not matching the ones we can download is that Prusa is slow at updating the files and only have very old mostly originals listed for download. And not alot of the newer revisions are available to download yet. The R1 is not newer it is older.
