IMO I like the standard colour of the Noctua fans. I like that people are excited about the colours though. I will probably reprint my plastics to be either Glow in the dark or translucent and pop in some holes for LEDS and link them to the printer status

If the final extruder body is really black than it must be related to the optical filament sensor. Remember in maker faire NY in the sun they put aluminum tape around extruder top to block the light out.

There are 2 spool holders included in the kit. The injektion moldet old one and a new 3d printed one.

finished assembly yesterday and didn't like the new spool hoolder as it is quite wobbly.

I assume the frame is unchanged from MK2/S, then you can use the model I made https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2640009 - This model can be printed without support.
