Lost 1 of the 2 springs for the idler - new one?
Anyone know where I can buy replacement springs for the idler on the print head? My filament sensor was DOA and, when removing the idler, one of the springs fell and immediately transported itself to that place where all the missing socks can be found....forever gone. I have a spring that fits, but it is not a firm as the original one.
Anyone know where I can find a replacement for it?

I found out these are the type of springs needed:
15.5mm long,
3.25mm ID
.8 mm wire diameter
5 mm OD
9-10 coils, and they have closed ends.

Have you checked the magnets on the bed... the sprng is possibly stuck to them...

I never thought to look there, and will keep it in mind from here on out! Sadly, it was not there.

I love you, in a purely platonic way of course. 🙂

Wanted to close the loop. It took quite some time to get the springs, but they arrived and are the exact springs used by the I3 MK3. You have to buy them in a set of two, but that simply means I have a ready spare now. It also means that, according to Murphy, I will never lose one again. Fine by me. 🙂
