Lift our spirits! (In search of) success stories of Mk3 users

Hi Forum!
I haven't posted yet as I am waiting for my Mk3 to ship... A couple of more weeks to go hopefully! However it's a bit depressing to browse the forum and mostly see posts with problems, issues etc... On the one hand I understand that any new product, especially in this field, is prone to have some issues at the beginning (it's not my first 3D printer and I know how painful it can be), but on the other hand I'm also sure that the reporting is heavily biased: if everything works well, you play with your printer, if you have a problem, you write in the forum 🙂

So, I would like to ask all the happy customers out there to give us all soon-to-be Prusa users some hope and post some positive experiences with their new Prusa i3 Mk3!

Thank you all in advance and happy printing!

I assembled mine a few days ago, ran through the calibrations and printed 4 test parts from the SD card. all of them look awesome! Real test will be when I start slicing my own files and my biggest concern is firmware - I can deal with anything mechanical that comes up with reason of course.

I have had zero problems. Printed many of the included files on the SD card and they were perfect. Printed a tolerance test i sliced myself and it passed up to 0.15mm which is amazing.

I think most of the issues are with things like skip detection and power loss. I know those are going to be great but honestly, i have not needed them and hope i never do. For me, it prints completely silently, quickly, and accurately. That is exactly what i wanted.

Hope your spirits are lifted for your wait!

It's quite natural, especially since this is the "Official Support Forum", to mainly post about problems and questions.

At the moment there seems to be some irritating issues, probably software related. My own mk3 has almost 300 hours of print time, and most of this time it's been working great, except for some layer shifting issues.
