Is bed level correction working for anyone else?

I have a fairly bad leveling problem. The back side of my bed is too low.

I read the manual and it says + values move the bed up and vice-versa.

I am currently at Back: +50 and Front: -10 and I don't see any difference compared to when it is zeroed out.

I think I have an issue also. I have a left / right inconsistency and I have pushed one side to +50 and the other to -50 and I am not convinced it has made any difference at all.

I had some minor leveling issues a couple of weeks ago (right side too low, front end too low if I remember correctly). The bed level correction worked for me, I think I made an adjustment of 25 on the front and 35 on the right, which got things close enough for the time.

Edit ( negative or positive, I can't remember which way, but I followed the directions and it worked)

Actually, consider the Bed Level Correction numbers as an adjustment to your Live Z. Just add the number to your current Live Z and that's what your head position will be at in that quadrant.

If you had a Live Z value of -0.500mm for example, adding +50 microns (or +0.050mm) would give you -0.450mm.

So, if your bed is too low in the back, you want your head to drop down to that level meaning you would want a negative number.

Example: -0.500 + -0.050 = -0.550mm

It's working for me, but I had to put my thinking cap on nice and tight to make sense of it. Right now I'm on my 4th attempt at a 9 square test trying to get just a little scuffing on each one, almost there! How this will play across the entire surface of the bed I can't guess, but this is feature I needed to be able to even attempt to do larger prints. Corrections so far are a couple +10's and a +5 and the rest 0, with a live-z of a whopping -1.2, with temps at 230/70, using Materio PLA in a room at 26 degrees with 50% humidity, and a very slight breeze. :ugeek:
