I just wanna say thank you community!

I just want to say thank you for being so smart to the rest of the community! Some of you guys go to so many lengths and extremes to make this printer as close to perfect as possible. I don't have the CAD experience to design anything useful, and I don't have the artistic skill to make anything look nice.

I just wanted to say Thank you for all your guys dedication to the "cause". No one person could solve all the issues these printers have, but the collective is getting them ironed out.

It won't be long before the number of us with dialed in printers starts to outnumber those with problems.

(Honestly, with firmware 3.2 +LA, and the Jltx cooling system, any improvement I get, from here out, is exceeding my expectations on the printer)

Hi, I'm Sean. I used to work on CNC machines.
I try to not make mistakes, but the decision is YOURS.
Please feel free to donate to my filament/maintance fund.

I believe satisfied users far outnumber those with issues, based on Josef's account of how may Mk3's have shipped (8000+) compared to the hundred or so issues listed here.

But you are absolutely right. This is an awesome community 🙂

They shouldn't be. I thought the print quality on my Mk3 was because I use Slic3r, and not S3D... compared to the others on here. I thought I was the reason for MANY of my issues.

I honestly have been disappointed. I expected to be BLOWN away with the quality. I expected to just be TOTALLY MIND BLOWN with how AWESOME this printer was gonna be! (I've been using sub 200$ printers, and the Mk2s compared with 2000$+ printers quite favorably!) So I assumed, Mk3... Gonna be 20-30% better than Mk2s... It's gonna compete with the 2000$+ printers, and possibly actually BEAT them sometimes!

My print quality has been on par with 300-500$ chinese mk3 knockoffs, using cheap trash parts. Nothing any of us have done, on here, has really done a lot to change it either.

But the guys on here have kept trying, and are hell-bent on making this printer one of the best printers money can buy, regardless of the price! And I can say, if Prusa keeps optimizing this stuff, and improving it, and the guys keep making the improvements they are. (and hopefully Prusa adopts the changes) I think the Mk3's future is VERY bright.
BUT...
With the Firmware on Prusa's website, and 100% factory printed parts...
The mk3 is a total non-start.

Brigandier compiled a pre-alpha of the firmware, and enabled Linear Advance, and I decided to give it a try as this new version is starting to add a bunch of new things... I would not recommend anyone to try it without knowing what you are doing, as it's a touch buggy... but the print quality is in another tier.

Attached is my most recent print.
The top surface is almost smooth as the bottom. (This was impossible before I put the 3.2 firmware with LA on. (I did not have LA before this))
The sides are perfect besides zitting. (This is a slicer issue... I'm not sure how to fix this just yet, but without the camera flash is actually hard to see)
There was no "binding" of the links once removed from the print bed. Everything was perfectly "loose".
If you look Close, you can see, what I am guessing is a bug, in the filament it's head.
There is 1 layer of under-extrusion over a "length" of the print, I am guessing that's a result of super-cheap filament, and there's not much the printer can do to adjust for that)

Where can i find a compiled firmware 3.2 with L.A. enabled? (for my MK3)
Thanks
