How to speed up print after start of Print
Hello Everyone.
I started a print at the highest quality of print in the slicer and am regretting it. I am 18 hours into a print and only at 30%. Quality looks unbelievable but probably don't need kind of quality for a battery holder lol.
I set the slicer for 0.05mm detail just to see what it would do but unfortunately it is taking forever.
Thanks.
Re: How to speed up print after start of Print
you can try dialing up the speed on the LCD just turn the knob and watch the 100% value change,
as the speed increases, so will the noise, but the quality will decrease

Thanks. I will give it a try. It already looks like an injection molded part so a little reduction in quality should not matter.

next time a greater layer height will print faster. for a battery case, 0.35mm layerheight will probably be adequate and provide a stronger model, printed in about 15% of the time.

I am still learning. Just got my first printer 1 week ago and have only printed 5 things so far. I am designing stuff on Fusion 360. Using Prusa Slicer and watching a lot of YouTube videos and reading am much stuff as possible online. Lot of information to digest. So far no failed prints from 4 PLA and one PETG prints. I have MakerGeeks and HobbyKing filament and both seem to work well so far.
Enjoying the experience and happy with my purchase.

Changing the printing velocity BEFORE the print is possible? Because I test a part with lower printing velocity and the result was good, but when I started to reduce the speed the printing was affected by the change in velocity, it was not a big deal but just to be sure if it can be done.
