How do Prusa that get finish on their bottom layer?

Has anyone works out yet how Prusa get that stippled finish on the bottom layer?

I always assumed they were using the textured steel sheets that we will be getting soon.. But I don't buy it.. it you look closely, there are no print lines of any kind. I can't believe they come off the printer this way.

I am thinking that they use some process after the print to finish the surface that way.. But if they do.. Why only the bottom layer..

Do we think that this is simply the finish we will get off the the textured steel sheet? Or is something else going on?

It's obviously from the textured sheets. The layers get slightly squished down onto the surface thus hiding the lines. I myself barely see my lines on just regular peI sheet.
If you adjust your live z properly you barely see the lines anyways.

Perhaps I am reading too much into it.. My Printrbot has a heated Aluminum bed with Kapton tape and it makes the bottom glass smooth.. But you can clearly see the print lines, even though the bottom is perfectly flat.

I guess the textured bed could hide that.. If so, I want it.. I was going to go for the smooth PEI sheet when its available, but if it can truely print with the textured bottom like this, I am going to get both.
