Hot End Switch Off

Hi,

I have been having a little trouble printing with my Mk3 recently. I wonder if anyone else is having the same issue, also where would be the best place to report this? I have just started chat with support now.

When the printer gets to the second layer the hot end switched off, but the target temperature still stayed at 220. I have noticed this once before when i heard the extruder start clicking with a clogged nozzle half way through a print the other day, and the hot end was cold. must have been off a little while before i checked on it.

any suggestions would help.

to make it clear it has happened on 3-4 different models in different materials and using cura once and slic3er the rest of the time, as i thought there may have been something in the g-code so i have been trying a few different things to solve it.

Thanks Dom

Re: Hot End Switch Off

Hello Joan,

I first had the issue on the previous firmware, 3.1.2 and thinking it may be solved if it was updated I now use 3.1.3.
