Okay starting in the top left we have 600, top right 650, middle 450, bottom left 550 and bottom right 700

Also are photos of the hot end and PINDA

Your tests values step are just too big.
Concentrate on the 600 area where you seem to be close.
And change no other parameters than the Z level. If you start turning the flow setting you are "lost in space".

Look at my picture to see which small steps you need to use when fine-tuning Z-level.

Re: Horrid first layer any help would be nice

This is just so annoying, I ordered a full set of parts to fix my I3 Mk3 none of the parts were listed as on back order till I purchased them now my order says "BACK ORDER" so I thought I would work on my Z layer some more I took apart my extruder to make sure I didn't miss anything and in the process I lost the tiny set screw for the Hobb gears, I chatted with Prusa Support and was told it is a 3mm X 3mm M3 so I ordered a package got them today Measured them with my micrometer and they are correct but way too LONG for the hobb gear. hello they made the printer while it is my fault I dropped the tiny set screw you would think they would know what size parts are on the thing.

So I guess I need to spend even more money

Update Shane Admitted giving me the wrong size but doesn't know the correct one off the top of his head..

So another delay

That's odd. Bondtech's assembly manual lists that set screw as a M4x3. And you are saying the M3x3 is too long?
