Easy replacement for rubber feet
It seems that the only thing that everyone dislikes about the MK3 is the rubber feet that fall off whenever the printer is moved. At a recent outing to Home Depot I came across some sliding door bumpers (in a convenient 4 pack) that have, so far been a great replacement. Toss the included wood screws in your miscellaneous hardware bin and find some 1/2" x 6-32 (or M3 x 12) screws and a large area washer that is small enough to fit into the channel with the nut on but large enough to not fall out when the nut is tightened. Then you won't have to disassemble anything to install them. See attached pics. I haven't even received my MK3 yet but had a similar idea. I have a bunch of spare rubber feet and washers from other projects and intend to do the same thing. One difference is that I have some drop-in t-nuts to use with the extrusion in lieu of the nuts you used. I'm surprised Prusa didn't design and ship the MK3 this way.

I think it does dampen noise a bit but then it's so quiet to start with it's hard to tell 😉

This is cool, but how much are you moving it that this is necessary?
As long as the nut doesn't vibrate on the inside of it that should work just as well. Good find!

I don't really move it that much but every time I did it seemed like one of the feet would pop off and this was an easy fix. I considered using lock nuts or loc-tite but that would have made it less easy 😉 The nuts haven't vibrated loose yet.

Anything besides the rubber feet the MK3 comes with is an improvement. They are very bouncy and contribute to the horrible ringing in Y.
Putting six on like in your link lines up with people talking about putting multiple feet on that they have designed. I was just at Home Depot today, guess I'll be heading back before I get the part I'm waiting for.

In my case, the sorbothane feet require a certain amount of load to operate optimally. Six feet happened to be the sweet spot, and I figured it couldn't hurt anything having more support under the Z frame. 🙂
I have thought about going completely rigid into a concrete paver with holes drilled and filled with epoxy though. Sorbothane is far and above better than the rubber feet, but I really wonder about going full rigid.

My version of rubber feet enforcement - a shell around the foot. Shell is a bit shorter than a foot, so rubber sticks out and holds printer on the desk very well, plus hooks wont allow foot to detach. To allow more rubber to stick out of the shell and add some extra "anti-vibration", shell can be cut to any height during slicing.

This is my first 3d model for my first 3d printer, so forgive all the mess - I have not used blender3d for years 🙂 I could not make briges work in slicer, so added them manually in the blend model.
To make hooks stronger I would add an extra wings adjusted to them - maybe next time 🙂
