Braided Sleeve
Does anybody know which Braided Sleeve is used from Prusa and where to buy it.
I wanna rebuild my printer with the updated parts and I also want to use the new sleeves because I already had a broken cable on the heatbed caused by the Nylon filament pushing against the cables.
Re: Braided Sleeve
Daniel, you'll find several comments on this topic by searching for "braided cable sleeve" you'll see the posts. Joan.T shows some good information and a picture half way down the page.
Re: Braided Sleeve
Yes I searched for that topic but did not found the right answer what I search for.
But Joan.T used his own sleeves not the original ones and I am interesting in getting very similar to the Prusa ones as I have read that they are harder then normal ones.
Sorry that I created a new topic - I could have used the other one which would make answers better for all of us.

Re: Braided Sleeve
Hi All,
Got my MK3 up and printing. I did a few upgrades on the way. One of which was the replacement of the plastic spiral wire covers. My kit included the newer formed woven heater bead wire covering. I also used my own braided sleeves for the stepper motor, the hot end and thermistor and all other wires in their own separate bundle. I used a smaller 1/4" sleeve for the hot end and thermistor and the stepper motor bundles (had to remove the hot end wire terminator connector) and 1/2" for the larger wire bundle. Looks great.
