Adding mk3 to Autodesk Inventor 2018

I might be getting ahead of myself, but I am adding my mk3 to the 3DPrinterDescriptions.xml of Autodesk Inventor 2018 prior to actually having the printer in hand (I check daily). I believe I have found the information I need, but want to make sure my orientation of the origin and proper dimensions for depth, width and height. The lines I added to %appdata\Roaming\Autodesk\Inventor 2018\3DPrinterDescriptions.xml should be highlighted in red below, with a standard setup for the Ultimaker 2 above it.

<Printer internalName="8D39294C-FA7A-40F4-AB79-19F506C64097" modelName="Ultimaker 2" manufacturer="Ultimaker B.V." technology="FFF" origin="BottomCenter" units="mm" depth="225" width="230" height="205" thicknessThreshold="1" defaultprinter="0" favorite="0" Spark="0" />

<Printer internalName="1ea5a1e2-7ce0-4f53-b9e7-beb06892b95b" modelName="i3 mk3" manufacturer="Prusa3d" technology="Extrusion" origin="FrontLeft" units="mm" depth="210" width="250" height="210" thicknessThreshold="1" defaultprinter="1" favorite="1" Spark="0" />

Here is what it looks like in the 3D Print Environment

Hopefully I am on the right track, suggestions?

I’m interested in this as I use inventor as well. Is this a built in slicing software? What would be the advantage to using it over one of the other available slicers?

Inventor is what I have the most experience with at the moment (just downloaded Fusion 360 as well). There is a native 3D print "environment" that shows the part within the print area right from Inventor. I may end up using another slicer, but it would be nice to have the native option.

I too have the most experience in inventor. Use it for everything. I’m gonna look into this add in however I don’t mind dragging and dropping into a slicer. Could be really convenient though if a mk3 profile was able to be loaded.

Stumbled on this through a google search. I'd be interested in this too. Any progress?
