Re: Stepper motor damper
Just wanted to share some of mine impressions of how I made the printers quieter regarding the Y axis:

I found that the stainless steal rods of the Y axis are not very precise. There are spots where the bearings starts to rattle, even the drylin ones. At the beginning I had a defective ball bearing, that rattle all the time. So pay attention, maybe it is a case for the support.
