Scroll wheel and spacer for extruder idler for Prusa i3 MK2(S)
I designed scroll wheel to quickly unscrew the extruder idler.
It is nice to unscrew both with only two fingers and very quickly:

You will need M3x40 hex (ISO4017) screws instead of the ISO4762 M3x40 screws.
To help the adjustment of the spring tensions, I designed a spacer 14mm high. When you tighten you will get a little bit less than 14mm in the spring length. That avoid a check with a ruler:

I made then about one month ago. But as my MK3 upgrade is already shipped from Prusa, it won't last long. Nevertheless, it was very useful.

I can understand the concept and see that it would allow you to remove them by hand without any tools, but I have a question, why? I'm new to 3D printers and still learning.
Is this an area of the extruder that you need to get into often because of filament jams or something else? How often to do have to remove the cover?

First, to do an atomic cleaning (ultimaker terms). Google that to know what it is.
And
To change idler pressure from normal to flexible filament, back and forth.
To remove the mess of flexible filament going out of the pulleys.
To change ptfe tubing.
To remove end of filament spool that i missed to control.
I think that is all.
I would say one to twice a month to totally remove the screws. On my new mk3, i already had to open twice in a week but i still not designed something.

I did something like this because I am forever losing the allen key...
