Q&D filament holder improvement
Love my mk2, but the those two levers that snap onto the top of the frame to serve as a filament roll holder gave great concern that a roll could drop off while mid-print, possibly damaging the machine. From my searches of the forum, that did happen to someone (ruining his print though not his machine).
My low-tech solution was to drill a hole in each lever (in the center of the peg ends that originally supported the filament roll) so I could run a smooth metal rod through them to support the roll. Of course, in the future, it would make more sense for the prusa people to simply print the levers with the holes as part of the model, and maybe even supply a metal rod for that purpose (I used a pin from a pastry rolling pin, the victim of another project).
Re: Q&D filament holder improvement
I printed this as a solution. it also makes faster to change spools.
