Extruder
Where can I buy a new extruder for the Prusa i3 MK2S ?
The PLA got stuck in the Extruder and I tried already to heat it up and to push it through and it didn`t work.
When I tried to remove the nozzle, the screw got totally destroyed ❗ and yes I heat the extruder up before I tried to remove the nozzle. 💡
I checked the handbook and there was said that I have to check the homepage of E3D but is the V6/ 1.75/ direct drive/ full kit- 12v the right extruder ?
Thank you for your help 😉
Re: Extruder
Hi,
first sorry to hear something broke. 2nd this question should be in 'Prusa i3 kit - Building, calibrating, first print, maintenance, ...'
But for now let's focus on your issue:

Depending what happend you may not need a hole extruder 🙂

Which screw got destroyed?
If you mean the Nozzle-thread broke and you cannot get it out of the heater block and the rest is okay you just need:
some of these https://e3d-online.com/hotends/components
- https://e3d-online.com/v6-sensor-cartridge-heater-block or a pimped up version https://e3d-online.com/v6-plated-copper-heater-block
- and new nozzle https://e3d-online.com/nozzles-for-3d-printer/v6-nozzles Prusa stock is Brass V6 Nozzle - 1.75mm x 0.40mm
- and https://e3d-online.com/catalog/product/view/id/7558/category/333/
around 20.40 GBP plus shipping from E3D
or you can order it from Prusa:
- https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/accessories/89-e3d-v6-nozzle.html
- get some thermal paste on your own
Check the prices and shipping costs.
I also highly suggest to order and use the https://e3d-online.com/v6-socks-pro-pack-of-3 or https://e3d-online.com/v6-sock-3pack
You need to be very careful when you change the heater cartridge and thermistor.

If something else broke a picture always helps to give advise.
What ever you do don't forget to do a PID tuning after rebuilding the hotend.

If you need a stock one https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/mk2-spare-parts/120-e3d-v61-assembled-hotend.html BUT if you have a Multi-Material-Upgrade you also gonna need a different https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/mk3-printer-parts/202-e3d-heatbreak-multimaterial-mk3.html and rebuild it 🙁
Hope that helps
