Actual print statistics accessible also after the print finishes
After a print is finished, it would be good to keep the info about material consumed and time taken visible on the display. At least until the user does some action (knob press/turn), even better in persistent way lasting over machine power cycle. Could be seen e.g. in the statistics page.
And if this statistics is stored in a file on the card (added to the already stored data there), it could even make possible to maintain material statistics - one card per filament roll. Or user statistics ... or project statistics ... 🙂
Re: Actual print statistics accessible also after the print finishes
Agree with you there.
I'm trying to quantify print time/ material usage per print to set up long term cost analysis.
I can often catch a print just before it is done and check the print statistics but that only really works on small short prints. On the long prints, 14-24 hours, it is very tough to catch and those are the ones I really want to know the information.
So... Second vote for being able to check that info post print job. Even if it is only persistent until checked.
(Oh and Zombie thread...)
Re: Actual print statistics accessible also after the print finishes
To add onto the request, I noted something with a long print:
LCD showing current status lists the time spent printing as accurate:
98% 29:41
However, statistics screen shows:
28m 96.92 cm
Time: 50h 11m 06s
so...
what is the solution?.... statistic screen time is way off... around a multiple of 1.7x?
