UHU glue not working !

Hi ! It's been a few month I have my mighty MK3 with smooth PEI that I love so much, everything was fine until yesteday. I ran out of the KORES supplied glue stick. So I bought some UHU glue stick to replace it (I'm from France and KORES is impossible to find) and here the problem begins !
The KORES glue performed amazingly, some parts were litteraly welded on the PEI sheet, It was amazing ! But the UHU ... Doesn't work at all ! It seems to dry on the PEI and nothing wants to adhere on it. I never failed a print in 3 month with the KORES glue and I can't even get the first layer to be corect with the UHU. I'm doing everything exactly the same, cleaning the bed with alcohol, sometimes with acetone ...
Printing directly on the bed works but ... I'm not confident at all, It's realy easy for the part to unstick. I had never tried hairspay so I gave it a try and ... same results as the UHU, it does not stick ! (Or not even as good as the naked PEI)

What Glues do you use ? Am I doing something wrong with hairspray ? Is there some secret techniques ? Is it possible to get very good bed adhesion with only the smooth PEI sheet and nothing applied on it ? It would be strange for me to order glue sticks from an other country !

Bonjour Ludovic.
Il y a un bon forum pour les français chez PRUSA avec un excellent modérateur, en plus la langue est plus facile à maîtriser n'est-ce-pas ; but if it is your wish to stay here hum we make an effort.

You do not mention which filament you are having trouble with, but is it ABS?
If it is PLA or PETG, do not use glue stick. Then wash all the glue from the bed with detergent and water.
Acetone and alcohol do not dissolve the glue that is water soluble.

If you only print with PLA, do not use any glue stick at all.

Wash the bed with detergent and water and wipe with paper. Do not take your fingers on the bed.
When the bed is clean and dry you can print on it. Between the prints you can use 99% isopropanol, nothing else.

Yeah I tried with nothing on the plate ... For simple objects there is no problem but when printing long and not so long objects there is a lot of warping, even after using acetone ... I'm used to print 3dlabprints RC airplanes and it's just impossible without adding glue. How do you guys do ?

Like I said, with this glue I NEVER EVER had a failed print since I own the machine. And now even after washing the plate like a psychopath every time I fail like 2/3 of my prints

Too high Z level can also cause your problems. Try lowering the nozzle a little bit. If you have a caliper, you can measure the thickness of the first layer. It should be about 0.20 mm.

...or go the whole mile and run the full Z calibration as described in this forum's (probably) most quoted thrad: https://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/assembly-and-first-prints-troubleshooting-f62/life-adjust-z-my-way-t2981.html
