struggling with bed adhesion on openrc f1 cover parts
New to the Forum and I just finished building and setting up my new mk3. This is my 4th printer so I'm not new to printers but I am new to PEI. Up till now I've always had a glass bed and used hairspray for PLA adhesion. Rarely had any issues with this setup. I started building the openrc f1 as a good learning and break in project for my new printer. Everything was going well till I started printing the cover parts. The rear motor cover and top center cover is starting to lift while printing. I prepped the bed just like the start up video says. I finally got the rear cover to print ok with the supplied glue stick and a brim but I've never been a fan of glue stick. Can i use hairspray on PEI? Will it damage it? Should I try something else first? Everything but this bed adhesion issue has been great about the printer.
Thanks!
Justin

high grit sandpaper and/or scotchbrite and/or steel wool scrub with acetone will you all the adhesion you'll ever need. No brim should be necessary for PLA.

Same problem here the bed would just randomly fails to adhere to the print.
Tried acetone, window cleaning spray(as suggested in the intro video) and alcohol.
I used glue, paper tape and even double sided tape as an extreme measure.
The double sided tape gives 100% adhesion BUT it's terrible to remove.
So far the print bed surface is the biggest disappointment. When it sticks the printer produces excellent prints, but the initial layer takes many tries every time.
