Skipping layers or under extrusion for an entire layer

Lately my prints have been coming out looking like it skipped an entire layer, possibly even two. Either that or it is just under extruding for an entire layer. I'm not entirely sure, I've tried tightening the extruder idler, and whenever I manually heat up and test the extruder it extrudes no issue. This only happens during prints. Could it be a bad sd card? Only started happening after I started printing fro the card...

A common filament jam; either something in the nozzle (cold pull required) or something in the filament path is hanging up.

So I did a cold pull and printed again, no difference. I am wondering if it could be the ptfe tube? Also this is one of the first times I tried printing at 0.1mm

You'd see read errors if there were SD card problems.

Do any of the Prusa sample gcodes show this problem?  Just a base point to rule out odd slicer issues. Like the frog at 0.05 mm.  Assume printer model is Mk3 and no MMU,  filament spool is on the stock holder feeding directly to the extruder, no filters or guides?

There are a few ways filament can jam in the hot end... a photo of the tip of your most recent cold pull can be telling.

What is your ambient room temp?   Is the printer in an enclosure?  Type of plastic?  Do you hear any clicking when this is happening, or see filament dust around the Bondtech gears and in the teeth?
