Prusament PETG matte is brittle
So... Ive printed a lot of PETG, 3DE Premium, Filament PM, Spectrum and Prusament.
However, this print is looking good, but its not as sterdy as the other PETG filaments I print. Its printed with 0.2mm layer 0,4mm nozzle, 245degrees and 90degree bed. Humidity in the room 31% when printed and room temp 25degrees. Filament was new and out of the bag.
I have not tried upping the temp, but im thinking about trying 250degrees on this filament. However this profile i used fits other prusament, spectrum and 3de very well, and it prints well, and strong.
Anyone have experience with this filament? Do i need to dry the matte more than i need to do with other petg?
RE: Prusament PETG matte is brittle
From my experience with matte PLA, it was more brittle. I saw on a video from CNC Kitchen that the additive for matte alters the properties and makes it more brittle.
