Prints Keep Failing Part Way
My prints keep failing halfway through. Essentially everything will go well until partway through you see the under extrusion and then it will stop printing. At that time the extruder will start skipping and making a clicking noise. The filament also is grinding.
Best as I can tell I have clogging issues. I've replaced PTFE tube (twice one I cut myself and then again with an extra that came with the printer). I've gone through most of the steps for Prusa has for a clog and when none of those helped I took the nozzle and heatsink/heatbreak to a heat gun and really went to town on it to melt out all of the filament that was in and around it.
I bought this printer in July and have run dozens of rolls through it. I've just ran into these issues. Nothing seems to help and I'm at a loss.

A lot of retractions?
Are you printing in a hot room?
What filament?
Enclosure/
More info please!

The filament in the photo is an anycubic green filament which is a new roll. I'm also experiencing this so far with Esun PLA+. I've printed probably a dozen or so rolls of the Esun PLA+ and this have not had this issue. I'm printing without an enclosure in my washroom (Washing Machine + Dryer). It can sometimes get a little warm in there, but when it does I open a door and a fan. Right now it's fairly cool where I live so it's not hot it there. I've had my printer in this room for months now without having these issues. As far as setting go, I believe I'm using default settings for everything. So far I've tried reducing retractions by half to .4. I've tried increasing my nozzle temp, lowering my nozzle temp. Different speed settings and layer heights and I'm still not seeing any results. I've read now that this could be heat creep but nothing is working.

I'm also running the latest firmware. I had been printing dozens of minis previously and it was working wonderfully.
RE: Prints Keep Failing Part Way
If have a clog, how does your filament look like if you pull it out of your extruder?
If it gets bigger a little bit down, then it could be heat creep, a picture would be nice.
Look in de forum for pictures how it looks like.
Make a print without retraction to test if it works without retraction, a lot of retraction then heat creep could come in play.

Yes it is a little bigger on the end, like the other pictures. I'm guessing it is heatcreep. Next thing I'm going to try is redoing the thermal paste on the heat block.
