Printing parameters to change to print to design
Hello. This is my first post on this forum.
If I'm more concerned about the dimensional accuracy of a printed part in X, Y, Z, what settings are best to change in slic3r or Simplify3D to achieve this?
Thank you.

Re: Printing parameters to change to print to design
Real broad question there. Let's see...nozzle temp, bed temp, speed, layer height, z-hop, retract, e-steps on all the motors, and the list goes on.
Personally I would print a calibration cube get measurements then see where I need to tweak to get where I want. About the only thing that does NOT affect dimensional accuracy is the day of the week...and I'm not sure about that.

😀 I'm sure the day of the week comes into play somewhere in the scheme of things... also whether or not you've had your first cup of coffee before starting a print job 😉 I'll try printing a test part next time and fiddling with the settings to see how close the dims come out.
