Printer pauses during print (to reheat?)
I have been trying some high quality prints (0.06 mm, ironing, etc. ) using CURA.
In my last three prints, the printer paused in the middle of a print, and seemed to be reheating to PLA printing temperature.
Once reheating was complete, all the h prints continued where they left off and completed successfully without more pauses.
The first print (according to CURA) was supposed to require 3 hours 53 minutes. The second print was supposed to require 1 hour 47 minutes. In the third, 1 hour 13 minutes.
In the first two cases, the pause occurred while I was not present, so I don't know what messages may have been displayed or how long the pause lasted.
In the third case, the printer messages seemed to indicate that the printer was cooling below PLA temperature (215 C.). The printer then reheated to 215 C. in less than a minute and restarted.
Is my printer overheating and having to pause to cool off?
Or is it cooling down and having to pause to reheat?
Thanks.
RE: Printer pauses during print (to reheat?)
Found the problem. When experimenting with CURA's post processing, I had accidentally left a pause command in the gcode.

At least it's fixed, don't worry about it, these things happen. 🙂
