PLA fine details print nightmare

Hello,

I am. trying to print some foldebles models, that have a lot of details. the surface of the prints looks ok, but the details, hinges and wheels are very bad. See attached pictures. Any other model that is printed in one piece is fine. so i have a hard time to find what is wrong: the model that i received or the printer and settings. I tried both settings recommended by the seller and settings used to print the boats and failed in both cases

It looks like the folding parts need supports. As for the hinges(?), layer 1 is a bit squished, could be higher so elephant foot isn't crimping the moving parts.  But also loos like the model is pretty fine and requires a smaller nozzle in places.

But the ugly spots with all the bubbly surfaces, looks like you are printing into free air.

When you post photos, please use the LINK TO : MEDIA FILE option ... it's a pain in the behind to try to find the full size versions of the miniatures you post.

Okay - with the actual part placement shown, the fat bubblies look more like parts are warping and lifting off the bed.

Try raising bed temp to 70c (if this is PLA).  Also, a good soap and water wash of the bed probably won't hurt, either. Judging by the fingerprints I can see on the bed, the soap and water would be my first thing to do.

How do any of the models included on the SD card, the gcode versions, print?

The fact the boat looks good, I'd say you are doing something funky when you slice the foldable - or you've clogged the nozzle since printing the boat.

Have you done a cold pull?  This would clear and eliminate simpler nozzle clog issues.  And after dragging the nozzle across a warped part, is often needed.

tried again after cold pull and the results were the same. any other ideas? printing one pieces objects is good. printing multiple objects is a nightmare. this is printed at 0.1mm
