PLA benchy come loose mid printing
Hello,
I have the following problem with Fillamentum pla,
When the print is almost finished, for example a benchy the print come loose from the base. I tried multiple times and re calibrated my MK3S+ but no luck. I also checked the first layer which seems fine.
Any suggestion what the problem maybe.
Thanks.

you might consider attaching some pictures. Your plate could be dirty also.

Please show us the bottom of a failed print.

Is that a smooth sheet? I had the exact problem with my printer when I used a textured sheet. Poor bed adhesion. The tops of those aches raise up when cooling and the nozzle hits them and unless you have really good bed adhesion the nozzle will nock them off the bed.
If you are using a smooth sheet, I would concentrate on a good clean surface and a properly set first layer height.

for the smooth sheet you should only need some dishsoap and water to clean. You only want the windex for petg which will still too well. For the smooth sheet and pla, you shouldn't need to add anything.

After some cleaning and re-calibrating I managed to print 3 benchys so I think the problem is solved.

Windex is used to REDUCE adhesion. It’s used when using petg on the smooth sheet as that sticks too well, sometimes pulling the surface off with the print. It’s no wonder parts were coming loose if you were cleaning with windex and using pla.
