Nozzle size 0.4 ---> 0.25 = weak part ?

I changed my nozzle from 0.4mm to 0.25mm. I print same objects with 0.1 layer height with Prusa Control. With 0.4 nozzle there is no problems but after changing to 0.25mm nozzle part was weak and there was like layer shifting (weak adhesion between layers) on part. Print temperature was 210. Should I print slower and use Slicer PE prefer than Prusa Control?. Material was Prusa grey PLA. I think that I need use more infill and more outer layers and slower speeds maybe 0.05 layer height? or what should I do to get tougher parts.

I also have 0.6 nozzle but that is different story when I get there.

Did you change the nozzle in slic3r AND reslice the part?
Or did you just use the gcode file that you already sliced with an 0.4 nozzle?

I changed it in Prusa Control software nozzle size to 0.25mm and resliced the model. Should I do first layer calibration after change nozzle everytime?

Yes, you should do a first layer calibration every time you change the nozzle.
Sometimes it is even necessary when you only moved the printer from here to there.

Recalibration may also be necessary when changing filaments, whether type of plastic, brand of same type, or sometimes even color of same brand & type. This is not always necessary, but sometimes. Filaments can be finicky. 😉

Hi,

I have similar problem. I was able to print tough parts on 0,25mm nozzle, but for about last 1 year all parts on 0,25 nozzles are fragile and weak, with very bad layers adhesion. Same condition, closed box, only changes are firmware, prusaslicer and new filament.

Have to try different filament than Prusament.
