Ninjaflex TPU Help
Hello,
I recently purchased some Ninjaflex TPU and am in the process of fine tuning the settings, but seem to be stuck. I know that this material is somewhat difficult to fine tune so I wanted to see if anyone could offer any advice at all.
Attached is a picture of the xyz test cube. The top layer looks pretty bad, along with some gaps on both the X and Y faces of the cube.
Settings are:
240 extruder, 35 bed
0.1 layer height
1.2 Extrusion Multiplier
Fan on after first 2 layers
15mm/s perimeters
20mm/s infil
0.43 extrusion width
Retraction 0
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Re: Ninjaflex TPU Help
Why .1mm layer height on TPU? That's asking too much of the extruder- you can't do that kind of detail with TPU. Try another one at .2mm

I was wondering if the layer height had anything to do with it, I will try .2mm and report back. Thanks for the advice!
Re: Ninjaflex TPU Help
If that doesn't help. Go for 10mm/s and uniform for everything. Changing speeds is building additional pressure.
