RE: Need to print Ø216mm footprint on I3MK3S+
I was able to do the above and get it to generate gcode. Like Bobstro above mentioned, be sure to turn off the skirt.

@bobstro
I tried printing the perimeter of the circle to test if the sliced image would indeed print accurately but found instead that when printing the sliced image was ignored at the very top. Instead of printing the circle with the correct curvature past the solid line of my PEI sheet, the printer instead printed horizontally along the solid line. Disappointed. I'd like to print that clock too!
RE: Need to print Ø216mm footprint on I3MK3S+
that said if we can print an intro line outside of the bed area, there has to be away to shift the circle downwards and print past the solid line, if not on top, at least on the bottom..
RE: Need to print Ø216mm footprint on I3MK3S+
In trying to investigate this further i ran into something i need explained to me.
It concerns the command G28W (homing) and then M114 (displaying position). Note the image below. After homing, i would have thought my position would be 0,0. Is that not supposed to be case after homing?
RE: Need to print Ø216mm footprint on I3MK3S+
I have tried to slice the same STL file again today, but when I print it it doesn't work anymore.
The only thing that is changed is the profile update I install this week. Now I also get the new firmware message before every print.
Looks like Prusa changed something.
RE: Need to print Ø216mm footprint on I3MK3S+
The old gcode still works and that was sliced with the same saved settings.
RE: Need to print Ø216mm footprint on I3MK3S+
I got it working again. I have no idea why but somehow something got changed.
That working gcode I had was different to the one I sliced today. The "bed-shape" numbers in de gcodes where different.
After some searching and comparing files I have found a way to get it working again.
When I changed the same numbers for the bed shape in PrusaSlicer again and sliced a file it wouldn't work.
Now I changed the numbers for the bed shape in the ini file that I used for the 216 mm print and saved it to a new ini file in:
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\PrusaSlicer\printer
(/home/YourName/.PrusaSlicer/printer/ on my linux system)
After restarting PrusaSlicer there is now a new printer in the dropdown menu on the right.
When I select that changed printer and slice my 216mm file without skirt it sliced without problems and prints the full circle again.
I will attach the ini file, the gcodes from my test for pla and petg and the .3mf files.
Put the ini file in C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\PrusaSlicer\printer (usualy a hidden folder) start PrusaSlicer and select the new printer.
Don't make any changes to that printers bed shape.

@baklin
Ciao Baklin thank you for your support, but cannot find the ini file on the zip archive... are you sure that you loaded on it?
RE: Need to print Ø216mm footprint on I3MK3S+
Sorry. Not sure how I did that.
Here is a new zip file with all the files, including the ini file.
RE: Need to print Ø216mm footprint on I3MK3S+
@baklin
thanks! so i used that but it didn't work for me initially until i adjusted origin to 0,5. I don't get it myself, but its working now so i wont complain. 🙂 THanks for the help!
216MM base print underway.

Thanks everyone. I made an example 216.5mm-deep print following the method described above: https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/100058-mk3-extended-maximum-bed-test
