Model Being Stretched in X-Axis
Hey everyone. Posting here because I could not find anything else online apart from how to actually level the bed. I've been printing for a little while now but I can't figure this out and I need your guys' help. Recently, I printed out a calibration cube, and the dimensions that came out were 8.8x10.4x10.5 instead of 10x10x10 for the X, Y, and Z respectively. I researched online and it appears that, other than scaling the model in the slicing software (which I really don't want to do), the solution would be to set the steps per millimeter. The default steps that I had via the command m503 were x100, y100, and z400. I followed a guide on how to set these up and I arrived at the numbers 113.64, 96.15, and 380.96. I put those numbers in instead of the normal values, and now the printer shifts the print area to the right and messes up bed leveling. I know this is due to the changed values. How can I fix this issue of the cube being lengthened in 2 directions but shrunk in one?

undo that ... sheesh the internet is dangerous
Undo that numeric stuff you did - not gonna work. Then print your calibration cube in a .1mm profile. Also be careful where you get your calibration cube from - load it into a reliable EDITOR (not a slicer) and measure it! Did you start at 10x10x10 in 3D Builder?
