No apology needed.  Just that adding a new question - while common and even recommended here on this forum - can cause confusion, and a reply to one post may be misconstrued as a reply to a different post. If everyone quoted who they were responding to, the issue could be minimized, but doing that adds a different issue: threads get unwieldy.

Even my reply about accuracy was confusing to some. The OP mentioning 0.8% error is only valid if the error if constrained (percentage of an arbitrary 50mmOD was implied, but not stated).  But then I dealt with measurement theory and constraints my entire career - so it's a hot button. The old 1.000v +/- 0.01% thing. What does that accuracy spec really mean? Right now, it is pretty meaningless: not enough to go on.

You have nothing to apologise for.

Many symptoms have more than one cause and newcomers have a steep learning curve.  Diagnosing the issue is only half the task.

We could probably have helped you get better accuracy for one print but that wouldn't improve the next one.  By now you're hopefully printing more usable parts and even if you're not - yet - then you're printing and gaining experience rather than sweating the small stuff.

Keep printing.  Cheerio,
