Microwaveable?
Hey, I have a microwave with a plastic thingy under the plate that keeps slipping out of position. I was considering designing a replacement that would hold position better. Can PLA or PET be kept in a microwave? It would NOT be in contact with the food, but I’m guessing outgassing might be a thing? And maybe heat to an extent.
If not PLA/PET is there a usable material?
When someone asks you if you're a god, you say, "YES!"

Re: Microwaveable?
maybe HTPLA(after tempering). keep in mind it gets warmed up from the stuff being heated up. the worst that will happen is your food being heated up will fall over 😀
I have a Prusa,therefore I research.
