Messed up first layer on model but perfectly fine supports?
Had this issue happen seemingly for no reason. My skirt prints perfectly fine, but the layer for my actual model is stringy and tends to get messed up. Is there some setting I changed by accident to cause this? I appreciate any help. Generic PLA, happens with multiple spools.

Check that the bottom of your model is completely flat - even try cutting 0.1 mm from the bottom and discarding the offcut.
