Mesh Bed Levelling Happening Twice

Hi Guys,

I'm very new to all this. I have a mk3 kit, which in the most part has been very good.

For some reason, most of my prints will start off with the mesh bed levelling, do the priming line, start the skirt line, stop part way through and do mesh bed leveling again.
the printer then returns to the home point (X at the left, Y all the way back) and then goes back to where it stopped and starts printing again.
due to the second mesh bed levelling the printer i believe has retracted the filament and takes a while to extrude. additionally, it is normally a bit intermittent initially and can leave blobs behind that normally get caught on the nozzle/ heater block.

i dont think i have changed anything, and I have even reinstalled prusa control and slic3r PE in case there was something there.

Normally I have been using prusa control at the moment as it seems quick and dirty to print things out. most things have worked out fine.
i do like that there is more options like grid infill in slic3r PE, but im not sure about many other settings until i learn more.

Back to my problem, has anyone seen issues with 2 lots of mesh bed levelling?
I am happy to post up the start of my GCode. (i have looked for the G80 command and it is only in there once.)

Re: Mesh Bed Levelling Happening Twice

It sounds like you *might* be getting a crash...check your fail stats.

Is it doing the full 9-point "dance" across the bed or just doing the front back check and then going back to printing?

You can post some G-Code, but we just need the first few lines...if there's not an extra G80 in there then it's not your G-Code.

And to be absolutely sure you could print one of the "factory" gcodes, like the Prusa_200u which is a popular choice for troubleshooting first layer stick because it has a solid bottom.
