Little blobs on printed wall
Hey everyone, Just changed my nozzle from a .4mm to a .6mm nozzle for slightly better print times. I realized that after i changed the extrusion wideth settings into 0 (so it can just do 1.125 x nozzle diameter) I know see little blobs on a wall im trying to print. The model on the left was printed with my .4mm nozzle while the right was printed with a .6mm nozzle (Dont mind the line, the print stopped and had to change the filament) If you look very closely at the right model you can see the minute bumbs im talking about while the left looks alot more smoother.
The .4mm layer height was .32mm while the .6mm layer height was .45mm
Is this normal? Or is one of the settings wrong? I realized that layers dont stack as nicely as before, is this also due to the larger diameter?
currently deciding whether or not i should keep this nozzle. There both Ruby nozzles

tried making the photo look better
RE: Little blobs on printed wall
How thin are those walls? At .6mm nozzle, what did you set the
Extrusion width
Layer height
Detect thin walls
?
You didn't share your model - so I'm going to have to just guess that you didn't re-design the print to be printed with .6mm nozzle - what is the thickness of each of those potato-chip walls? You really won't be able to go much below some multiple of .6 to .75ish. without adding all kinds of blems

@dan-rogers
Mentioned most of that stuff in the post, but bascially extrusion width is .65mm on average for most of it (its set to 0 so its 1.125 x nozzle diamter for all settings of extrusion width)
Layer height is .45mm for .6mm nozzzle and was .3mm for .4mm nozzle
detect thin walls is on
wall is 3mm thick
Temp was 225C for ESUN pla+
