Issues with PETG sticking to the bed on small parts

Question for you gents. I’m having issues with PETG I’ve tried 2 separate spools of filament one is Prusament the other hatchbox. I’ve had to lowered the z to get it to stick and look halfway decent some of the time. I’ve tried cleaning the bed with IPA91 then spraying windex on the bed, it doesn’t stick. Cleaning again and using nothing it sticks better but not the best. Cleaned again then used a glue stick, sticks some what better but is still pulling up and sticking to the nozzle.

So I am mainly have issues with smaller parts (Trying to print the cover to add in the pi) sticking to on my bed. I used a cal checker board. The outside squares didn't stick perfectly but as long as it was some what there on the outside the inside layer would stick.

Trying to figure out how to add pictures.

Wash your bed with no-additive dish soap and hot water, with a clean paper towel (No used kitchen sponge etc). handle it ONLY by the edges, dry with more clean paper towel, and apply windex before printing.

Acetone/IPA don't remove finger oils/lotions from the bed.

Just to explain, the Windex will prevent over adhesion and washing increases adhesion.  It seems counter-intuitive, but it works.

Yes, washing removes all the crap preventing the PETG from adhering in the first place; you then only reapply what's needed to keep it from fusing.

Some PETG will stick to PEI like superglue, and requires a release agent like fingerprints, Windex or Gluestick or Painters tape.

Some PETG demands an ultra clean bed, and a fresh soap and hot water wash is required.

Best to print something small to test PETG adhesion.  And if it sticks really well, like superglue, cooling the bed in the freezer for 15 minutes can help it release from the bed, and warns you to use something with larger parts.
