How to improve overhangs on this print?

I print this upside down but the overhangs are rather nasty. The thickness is 1mm. I could potentially make it ticker on the bottom of it to max 2mm. Preferable 1.5mm, but would that help here? I tried with some physical support. Generated by slicer does not help a tiny bit. The ones with meshmixer don't help much either.

That part is not well designed for 3D printing.  Do you have access to the source file?

The fillets all round prevent it being reoriented for easier printing, The easiest would be to print it inverted on a raft though this will also require support and the rough patch will be transferred to the outside - out of the way?

Your overhang is effectively printed in mid air - support just stops it falling, turning the cylindrical section into a pointed arch would allow it to print cleanly without support.

Cheerio,
