Horizontal gap in Slicer

Hey everyone! : )

I'm new to 3D printing but have a long history with 3D modeling. I'm wating for my first printer to arrive (i3 mk3s) and I'm preparing some models I made to print on the printer. I have a problem with one of my models that I can't seem to figure out why I have this problem.

My model ends up with a horizontal gap in one of the arms. The weird thing is that if you look at the topology of the model itself there are no straight lines in the arm at all. Is this a common problem or is there any way to find out why this happens?

The other arm has the exact same topology but seems totally fine. No errors anywhere else in the model when loaded into Slicer.

Thanks for reading my post and hopefully someone is able to help me.

Have a good day and stay safe! 😀

RE: Horizontal gap in Slicer

Try tight clicking on the model in '3D editor view'  then choose the 'fix through the Netfab' option

that should sort the problem

If not, save the project  in the file menu then zip the .3mf file, and attach the Zipfile to your next post please

regards Joan
