Had to re calibrate and now having issues
I have tried to do this print twice now. The first print the layers shifted twice before I was able to shut it down. The second print I did overnight and failed as well. When I looked through my camera I have set up it showed it was printing fine then all of a sudden the whole print comes off the print bed. It then proceeded to make the spaghetti monster only with beads throughout. Once I actually got to the printer the filament had stopped coming out and the printer was just going through the motions like it was still printing.
This all started after I had some lubrication issues on the y axis and once I fixed it. the prints have not been the same. Even reset the whole thing and recalibrated. I've printed other things that have either come out fine after a few tries or did something similar after the print has started for a few hours. This is on a prusa mk3s. Any help would be most welcome and very much appreciated!
RE: Had to re calibrate and now having issues
You should probably tell us what lubrication issues you had and how you fixed it. Bearing binding can cause layer shifts.
The print coming off the bed is an adhesion issue. We would need to know what build plate (smooth or textured), what filament and what temperatures. Posting a calibration square (2 inches or so) would tell us a lot.
In any case, start with a clean bed. Scrub with hot water and unscented detergent (the build plate that is), rinse thoroughly, and dry with a clean paper towel. Never touch the print area. Don't use any IPA for these tests.
RE: Had to re calibrate and now having issues
As of now I think its solved. I lowered the nozzle more and seems to be working. Guess sometimes even with the nozzle not close enough you can get prints fine if your lucky
