"G-Code sliced for a different printer type"
I bought a used Prusa i3 MK3. I am new to this and am trying to get through a first print. The printer has the Bondtech extruder upgrade. I downloaded and installed Prusa Slicer 2.90. When I select the printer, the only applicable choices are "Original Prusa i3 MK3S & MK3S+ MMU 3" and "Original Prusa i3 MK3S & MK3S+ MMU 3 Single". When I splice and export the file to the SD drive, and plug it into the printer, I get the message "G-Code sliced for a different printer type." I tried both options with the same effect.
I looked for a way to "identify" my specific printer and add it to the printer list, but no luck. This is probably a lame newbie type issue/question, but I could use some advice if anyone has some.
If this question is better asked in a different topic category please let me know.
Thanks.

You say that you Bought a Mk3 and you can only find Mk3S profiles...
In Configuration Wizard, there should be Mk3 options
try enabling those and see if that sorts your problem

RE: "G-Code sliced for a different printer type"
Thank you Joan. I will check that. FYI, the printer was a Prusa i3 MK3 and was upgraded, but I do not yet know to what extent. The LED screen identifies it as a Prusa MK3S, if that matters. Thanks again, you offer a lot of help here.
RE: "G-Code sliced for a different printer type"
the Mk3 has a 4 wire filament sensor,
the mk3S has a 3 wire filament sensor.
If the printer thinks it's a mk3S and the slicer is set up for a basic mk3 you will get this error message
if you can identify which sort of filament sensor you have, then you can choose the correct printer type, in Prusa Slicer Configuration wizard.
which will stop the printer complaining.
alternatively, you can delete the marked line of code, in the 'Custom GCode Start GCode' (An advanced mode setting)
and that will stop the printer complaining in a different way...
